The WIRES melt filter candle is a high-performance stainless steel filter element engineered specifically for continuous polymer melt filtration in extrusion, spinning, and pelletizing lines. It combines pleated stainless steel sintered fiber felt media with a precision woven wire mesh outer support cage, delivering an exceptionally high open area and large dirt-holding capacity while maintaining low pressure drop across the polymer melt stream. The candle-style design with threaded or flanged end connections allows quick swap-out during screen changes, minimizing production downtime.
