WIRES Metal Powder Sintered Filter Element
The WIRES metal powder sintered filter element is manufactured by compressing and sintering spherical bronze, stainless steel, or titanium powder into a rigid, porous tube, disc, or custom shape. The controlled particle size distribution creates a uniform, predictable pore structure with high open porosity (up to 40 %) and excellent gas permeability. Because the element is monolithic — composed entirely of bonded metal particles — there is no media migration, no fiber release, and no bypass, making it ideal for sterile, high-purity, and high-temperature applications. The sintered powder structure is inherently self-supporting, requiring no internal support core.
