WIRES Powder Filter Housing (Baghouse)
The WIRES powder filter housing is a sanitary stainless steel baghouse-style dust collector designed for product recovery and dust control in pneumatic conveying systems, bulk powder handling, and process off-gas filtration. The vertical vessel houses multiple filter bags or cartridge elements suspended from a tube sheet; dust-laden air enters below the tube sheet, passes through the filter media from inside out, and clean air exits through the top outlet. Periodic pulse-jet cleaning with compressed air dislodges accumulated powder into the conical hopper below, where it is discharged through a rotary valve or dump gate. The all-stainless-steel, crevice-free design supports CIP/SIP cleaning in food, pharmaceutical, and fine chemical applications.
