WIRES Coalescing Separator Filter Housing
The WIRES coalescing separator filter housing is a horizontal or vertical pressure vessel engineered to house two-stage coalescer/separator cartridges for efficient removal of free and emulsified water from hydrocarbon liquids. The first stage — coalescer cartridges — captures fine water droplets and merges them into larger drops that settle by gravity into the sump. The second stage — oleophobic separator cartridges — blocks any remaining free water while allowing clean fuel to pass. The vessel is equipped with inlet/outlet flanges, a large liquid sump with sight-glass drain, differential pressure gauges across each stage, and vent/drain connections. Designed to API 12J and ASME VIII standards with optional DNV/CE/PED certification.
