WIRES Natural Gas Filter Separator
The WIRES natural gas filter separator is a vertical pressure vessel designed to remove solids, liquid droplets, and hydrocarbon mist from pipeline natural gas, associated gas, and flare gas streams. The gas enters through a side inlet and first encounters a cyclonic vane inlet device that removes bulk liquid and large solids by centrifugal force. The gas then flows upward through a bed of high-efficiency coalescing filter cartridges that capture fine liquid aerosol and sub-micron particles. Separated liquids drain by gravity into the bottom sump, which is equipped with a level controller, dump valve, and drain connection. The clean gas exits through the top outlet. Built to ASME Section VIII Div. 1 / PED / GB 150 standards with optional NACE MR0175 sour service certification.
