Plate Type Panel Air Filter
The WIRES Plate Air Filter is a disposable panel-type dry filter designed for coarse and medium pre-filtration of ambient air in HVAC systems, clean-rooms make-up air handlers, gas turbine intake houses, and large compressor air-inlet systems. The pleated media pack is sealed into a rigid galvanized sheet-steel or aluminum frame with polyurethane adhesive that eliminates bypass. A reinforced expanded-metal support grid on the clean-air side prevents the media from bulging under high face velocity. Standard efficiencies range from G3 to F8 per EN779, with optional activated-carbon layers for odor control. These panel filters protect downstream HEPA stages and compressor elements by capturing lint, dust, pollen, and atmospheric particulate before it reaches the fine filtration stage.
